Sip and Strum

Sip and Strum

For string players 21 and older!

Instructor – Richy Hall (Mason Music Guitar Teacher)

WHAT: Come hang out with us on Monday evenings for a laid-back acoustic jam session! We will be playing each week through a different genre of music focusing on very familiar and playable tunes – all while enjoying your favorite beverage! This jam session is open to acoustic guitars, ukuleles, mandolins, banjos, dobros and the like. We will spend time each week looking at chord charts, playing through the basic strumming patterns and handling any necessary riffs to the song, and discussing ways to jam and solo over each chord progression. A basic knowledge of open chords, capo transposition skills and strumming patterns are necessary, but more advanced players are welcome and encouraged.

WHEN: Every Monday, April 2 through May 21, from 8:00-9:00 PM

WHERE: Mason Music’s Bluff Park Studio (761 Shades Mountain Plaza, Hoover, AL 35226)

The cost of this class is $250.
